Product Specification Specialist (MNC/Manufacturing)

Our client is an MNC specializing in the packaging industry. We are looking for an experienced Product Specification talent to join the pioneer team.
Industry: Packaging Manufacturing
Location: Iskandar Puteri, Johor Bahru
Working Days: Monday to Friday, 9.00am-6.00pm
Responsibilities:
  • Review and translate customer specifications into company's standards and capabilities.
  • Communicate and document standards in the company’s information systems. Examine customer specifications, drawings.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure alignment with customer needs and operational priorities.
  • Coordinate closely with global teams to ensure consistency in customer document language.
  • Facilitates the internal approval process for customer specifications.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for operational efficiency.
  • Attending customer calls as needed to discuss negotiations and requested specifications.
  • Maintain and update global specification standards so that all specifications negotiated with customers are accurately written as to group's standard capabilities and can consistently deliver to customer expectations.
  • Maintain and update company's generic customer specification document on a yearly basis as needed.
  • Track progress and completion of each specification document electronically.
  • Support Change Notification Review system.
  • Respond as needed to external and internal complaints through the disciplined application of the company’s CAPA procedure. Assist as needed in containing potential problems, investigating causes, implementing solutions, and preventing the problem from recurring.
  • Assist as needed in other projects related to professional duties.
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar function, or a relevant field.
  • Bachelor's Degree in any fields.
  • Required language: English.
