Our client is a leading player in the freight forwarding industry, with over 30 years of market presence. We are seeking an experienced Branch Manager for the Johor Bahru branch. In this role, you will oversee branch operations, financial performance, people management, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Location: Johor Bahru Town (Onsite)
Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the Johor Bahru branch, ensuring team productivity and service quality.
• Maintain high standards of customer satisfaction by managing complaints and monitoring team performance.
• Actively engage with existing and prospective customers to identify new business opportunities and strengthen relationships.
• Take ownership of the branch’s P&L, driving revenue growth and profitability while ensuring operational efficiency.
• Manage the branch's budgeting to align with group financial goals.
• Maintain a strong awareness of regulatory changes, customer needs, and competitor activities within the freight forwarding and logistics sectors.
• Work closely with headquarters to stay aligned on service portfolios, pricing structures, and operational guidelines.
• Lead people management efforts, including hiring, training, and developing team members to foster a collaborative and efficient culture.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and group standards to maintain a safe, compliant environment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of experience, preferably within the logistics/freight forwarding industry.
• Proficiency in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin; additional languages are advantageous.
• Proven track record in effective leadership.
• Ability to work independently with a proactive approach.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on stakeholder management.
• Excellent communication skills.
