Looking for a PURCHASING PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST
Contract 1 year renewable / perm subjected to the performance
Location Mitec
The basic Salary starts from RM6,000
Working Operation Hour TBA
Must be good communication skills in English and Bahasa
ATTENTION TO DETAIL IS A MUST!
· Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers and vendors that meet quality, cost, and Halal certification requirements. Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable delivery of products and services.
· Procurement Operations: Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including preparing purchase orders, negotiating contracts, and monitoring delivery schedules to ensure timely receipt of goods and services.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably within the food industry or Halal-certified products.
  • Strong knowledge of Halal standards and certification processes.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
  • Certification in supply chain management or procurement is a plus (e.g., CPSM, CIPS).
Job scope
  • ·Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements in procurement practices to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall supply chain performance.
  • · Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as production, quality assurance, and finance to ensure alignment of procurement activities with business goals.
  • · Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities, including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier evaluations. Prepare regular reports on procurement metrics, cost analysis, and compliance status.
  • · Halal Compliance: Ensure all purchased products and materials meet Halal standards. Work closely with suppliers to obtain necessary Halal certifications and documentation. Stay updated with changes in Halal certification regulations and standards.

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
