Position Summary
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you shall be responsible for the accounting, and you will be processing payments, verifying invoices, and performing account reconciliations. You should exhibit sound knowledge of best practices in accounting and experience in a similar role. An accomplished accounts payable executive has accounting expertise translates into optimized expense control processes.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- To report regularly to the finance manager on the work deliverables
- Collaborating with internal departments to gather, analyze, and interpret relevant financial data.
- Receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices.
- Comparing system reports to balances and verifying entries.
- Charging expenses to accounts and cost centers, as well as controlling petty cash spending.
- Verifying vendor accounts, paying vendors, and resolving purchase order, invoice, or payment discrepancies.
- Issuing purchase order amendments and stop payments.
- Monitoring payroll expense claims, including salary advances.
- Reconciling account transactions with the general ledger.
- Performing record-keeping and preparing financial reports.
- Keeping informed of regulatory requirements and best practices in accounting.
- Dealing with USD transactions & preparation of payment documentation.
- Familiar with unrealized gain/loss on foreign exchange rate.
- Prepare staffs PCB calculation for monthly salary.
Requirements Qualifications:
- At least 4 years of working experience in a similar position.
- Possess a recognized degree in Accountancy or professional qualification.
- Strong command of written and spoken English, Bahasa Malaysia.
Office location: Teluk Panglima Garang
Office Hour: Monday - Friday (9am-6pm) , Saturday (9am-1pm)
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM3,400.00 - RM3,900.00 per month
