About the team:
We are looking for an Accountant (m/f/d) in our Local Finance team at our location in Amsterdam.

What you can look forward to as Accountant (m/f/d) Local Finance:

• Run the operational accounting activities of several Holding entities in the Netherlands, amongst which two important holdings for the entire group: A company managing group assets worth 16 billion EUR and a PIE entity which raises capital for the Group
• Prepare and manage the month-end-close processes for seven holding companies and drive the local accounting tasks throughout the month
• Regular alignment and sparring with the finance manager on specific topics, incl Dutch GAAP matters
• Drive master data changes in SAP required for smooth accounting processes
• Safeguard the Internal Control System process: preparation of controls, monitoring and reporting of evidence
• Submitting accurate IFRS reporting according to group and divisional deadlines
• Supporting the statutory and legal reporting according legal deadlines (Dutch GAAP), as well as external reporting to DNB and CBS (statistics)
• Review VAT declarations and VAT filings
• Collaborate with other teams (Treasury, Tax, Control, HR, etc.) across the group, e.g. information requests
• Support the external audit of the financial statements of the PIE entity
• Organize and run Planning, Forecast and Reporting and provide accurate and timely standard information on business

Your profile as Accountant (m/f/d) Local Finance:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Controlling or a similar field
• Several years of work experience in Accounting, Tax and/or Controlling
• Strong knowledge in IFRS and local GAAP (Netherlands)
• Fluent English language skills, oral and written. Dutch (and German) would be a plus
• Strong analytic and communication skills and an independent way of work in a quickly changing environment
