Assembly worker/Warehouse backup

You will work 80% on assembly and 20% backing up the Warehouse Manager. The Warehouse Manager will decide on priorities of assembly according to shipping deadlines. But, in the Warehouse Manager’s absence, you will step into the role and take the reins.
You will need to be hard working and enthusiastic, have a ‘can-do’ attitude, and be able to work on your own initiative as well as seamlessly alongside the Warehouse Manager.
The role requires you to follow assembly instructions, taking responsibility to ensure that orders are fulfilled correctly and on time. When no assembly jobs are needed, you will support warehouse activities such as picking, packing, shipping.
Physical fitness is essential as the position commands a high volume of manual handling; lifting/moving activities.
To support you, we will provide:
- Training in our main factory.
- A Warehouse Manager to indicate priority of the assembly jobs open every day.
- Support from the Warehouse Manager when workload exceeds assembler’s availability.
- Skills and experience with forklift trucks.
- Assembly experience.
- Knowledge of electro-mechanical assembly (but not essential).
- Experience using small hand and automated equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings/instructions.
- Understanding of quality/good practice.
- Good level of computer skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: €13,68 per hour
Expected hours: 39.00 per week
