What will you do?
We are seeking a Business Analyst who excels in both business understanding and data management. In this role, 60% of your focus will be on understanding and improving business processes, while the remaining 40% will involve working with data—analyzing it, managing it, and using tools like Power BI and SQL to deliver actionable insights.
Your responsibilities:

• Business Analysis (60%):
  

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand key processes, identify inefficiencies, and propose improvements;
  
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for data-related projects;
  
• Develop a deep understanding of our business operations and ensure that data initiatives align with strategic goals.
  

• Data Management and Analysis (40%):
  

• Use Power BI and SQL to analyze data, create reports, and build dashboards that support business decision-making;
  
• Manage and maintain data quality, ensuring accuracy and reliability in all reports and insights;
  
• Learn and adapt to new data tools and technologies as needed to meet business needs;
  
• Work with the IT and data teams to ensure the availability and integrity of data sources.
  

Your profile:

• Business Acumen:
  

• Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to map and optimize them;
  
• Ability to align data initiatives with business objectives and communicate the impact of data-driven decisions.
  

• Analytical Skills:
  

• Proficiency in analyzing data to extract meaningful insights that support business strategies;
  
• Experience in identifying trends, patterns, and opportunities within data sets.
  

• Technical Skills:
  

• Familiarity with Power BI and SQL is preferred, with the ability to learn and manage these tools as required;
  
• Basic understanding of data modeling and database management is a plus.
  

• Communication and Collaboration:
  

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data insights into clear business recommendations;
  
• Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations.
  

• Educational Background and Experience:
  

• Holds a bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or possesses equivalent relevant experience;
  
• Experience in a business analyst role with a focus on both business processes and data analysis.
  

• Location Requirement:
  

• We are seeking candidates who are already located in the Netherlands with work permission.
  

What we offer:

• The monthly salary range for this position is 4500€ – 5000€ (including a project related bonus of 300€ per month) and will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications and experience;
