Business Development Manager Large Format Graphics
40 hours per week, hybrid in Venlo (NL)
What You’ll Do
In this position you’ll be responsible to drive sales and contribute to structural growth in the Wide Format Graphics market in the Asia-Pacific area.
In this role you’re on top of the sales results. You track, monitor and come up with proposals how to further boost sales. You will establish a very close relationship with the local Canon sales organizations to support requests in high value cases, based on experience, content and lead by showing “how to sell”, with the goal of helping them creating revenue and profit. In short, making the difference. This in a dynamic landscape that is dominated by applications in the world of Wide Format Graphics Printing (e.g. Retail, POS/POP, Interior décor, Display & Packaging).
You act as a subject matter expert knowing the customers’ needs, business dynamics and challenges in the market of Large Format Graphics printing applications. You are in daily contact with the local teams with a clear focus to grow the business with partners, independent local sales and service organization who are successfully selling hardware, ink and media in the Large Format Graphics industry.
With the support of the team you define, role out and execute support programs, implement new value propositions, selling strategies/campaigns, training programs, on- and offline events, fueling the business and enabling sales organizations to grow the business.

This position is based at the international headquarters of Canon Production Printing in Venlo, The Netherlands.
What You Bring
You bring strong personal leadership, you are a self-starter who is able to work independently as well as in different teams. You are perfectly aware of culture and mindset in different countries and are able to adapt and adjust to expectations of your customers. Furthermore you recognize yourself in the following requirements:
- Academic thinking level with several years of relevant experience
- You are an expert when it comes to Graphic Arts applications
- You combine a well-structured approach with technical affinity and good people and business sensitivity
- You are pro-active, entrepreneurial and have a drive to get things done with a team spirit
- You have a high-energy, excellent interpersonal skills and a self-started base triggered by business growth
- Requisite influencing and networking, the ability to interface with and effectively influence different stakeholders with different cultures and multiple priorities
- Willingness to travel about 10-15% of your time
- Your English and Dutch knowledge are on a professional level, command of any additional languages are an advantage.
