Consultant / Manager Cybersecurity - OT

Internet of Things) (Io T) / Operational Technology / Industrial Control Systems / SCADA environment (OT)
Cybersecurity Consultant / Manager to join our Cybersecurity Team in Amsterdam.

The opportunity - What future are you building towards?
The role will provide Io T/OT cybersecurity capabilities to our security practices in the Netherlands. It will play a direct role in the delivery and sales of OT/Io T security engagements.

Within the Cybersecurity department, we focus on reliable solutions for increasingly complex cybersecurity risks in operational environments. We are an international team of specialists who help our clients with their most complex cybersecurity needs. We work from the Advanced Security Center in Amsterdam in collaboration with our Advanced Security Centers around the world to access the most advanced tools to combat cybercrime.

Responsibilities – How can you make a lasting impact in a rapidly changing world?

Actively participate in the engagements conducting following tasks: participate and lead meetings with Clients in the role of cybersecurity expert, develop concepts, solutions, methods required to fulfil projects objectives.
Lead the project teams consisting of other security architects, security consultants or security analysts.
Support for cybersecurity related business development activities, including client discussions and proposal writing.

Job requirements – Where do you start if you want to change the world?

Completed technical higher education in the field of industrial automation, computer science, electronics or relevant.
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in positions related to manage, design, implementation, maintenance or support solutions, preferably within OT-ICS or Io T domains.
Capability to develop professional documents in the form reports, analysis, methodologies in the English language.
Understanding of technologies (typical assets, communication protocols, technical architectures) utilized by OT-ICS systems (SCADA/DCS/PLC/RTU) and networks.
Knowledge of the security concepts typical to the ICS/OT environments especially network architecture, segmentation, defense in depth.
Full professional proficiency in English.
Possession of certificates or education related to industrial automation / engineering etc.
Possession of certificates of industrial automation or security, preferably in ICS domain (ICS vendors, ISA 62443, GICSP-GIAC), .

Pension scheme: you will build up a pension capital directly after your start at EY. Each month the available premium amount is transferred for you in an investment account at our pension provider. You will also have the option to build up additional pension capital on a voluntary basis.

Recruitment procedure
The selection procedure exists in general out of 2 interview rounds and/or Business case. An (online) assessment an pre-employment screening will also be part of the process.

Due to laws and regulations, and because EY (and in some cases its clients) has high demands on the reliability and integrity of its employees, every new employee will be screened. Depending on your rank the pre-employment screening could contain the following: Certificate of Conduct (in Dutch: VOG) or - if requesting a Dutch VOG is not possible - Criminal Background Check of the country you are currently living or have lived during the last five years, integrity questionnaire, verification of ID, diploma’s and/or work experience and consultation of the Dutch insolvency registry.
