MCE Group is the venture arm of a family office that invests in innovative startups operating in the digital asset industry. Our focus is on identifying and investing in promising founders and projects within the Web3 industry at an early stage. What will you do
As an analyst at the MCE Group, you will be part of our research team to conduct in-depth due diligence on new venture projects, liquid investments and research on various crypto-related topics. Your responsibilities will include reviewing pitch decks, performing investment calls, conducting competitive analysis, and overseeing deal flow. Your role will involve doing in-depth analysis to make investment decisions. Join us and be at the forefront of shaping the future of the digital asset industry.
We are looking for a colleague who is available at least 32 hours a week. We need someone proactive, with strong analytical and communication skills, and with a passion for crypto. We also hope you bring the following:
· A bachelor's or master's degree in finance, business, or a related field
· Minimum of 6 months of experience as an analyst or in a similar role.
· Hands-on mentality, a strong desire to learn and a sense of humour never hurts
· Proficient fluency in English (preferably Dutch too), written and spoken
· Some experience working at a venture capital firm, research firm, crypto or blockchain company.
· We have a preference for a candidate who has up-to-date market knowledge, for example, a candidate who can explain to us how protocols such as Pendle, Ethena or Karak works

Please note that this role for the first months is 75% remote and 25% at the office in Amsterdam. It will require a relocation for the first months in case you live outside of the Netherlands.
