Neogene Therapeutics
Research Associate

As a Research Associate at Neogene, your primary responsibility is to conduct laboratory-based assays aiming to identify tumor biopsy-derived neo-antigen specific TCRs in functional genetic screens. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the accurate and reliable preparation and execution of assays, documenting the process and data meticulously, and maintaining the laboratory space and equipment relevant to your work. This position is located in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, and you will report to an Associate Director, Cellular Immunology.
Responsibilities
- Work as part of the Cellular Immunology screening team to perform laboratory processes to select and characterize tumor biopsy-derived neo-antigen specific TCRs.
- Implement aseptic handling, Auto MACS-based cell sorting and genetic modification of immune cells, and perform phenotypic and functional evaluation by flow cytometry.
- Work in compliance with standards set out by relevant accredited agencies.
- Document results in electronic and paper-based laboratory journals and document management systems, following standards set by appropriate accredited agencies.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's + 2 years or Master's degree in a relevant scientific field (e.g., Immunology, Oncology, Cell Biology or related discipline).
- Experience with cellular biology methods, isolation and aseptic handling of primary cells and cell lines, in gene modification technologies (e.g. retroviral transductions), immunological assays, cell sorting and flow cytometry.
- You must be authorized to work in The Netherlands.
