Data Engineer – Amsterdam, Hybrid

Levy Professionals is currently looking for Data Engineers with strong experience in platform solution design and Azure infrastructure for one of the largest financial institutions in the Netherlands. You will be joining the bank to design and develop end-to-end solutions.
Responsibilities
As a Data Engineer, you will be working in your own scrum team as development engineer while assisting solution architects on new solutions. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Aligning with solution architects on system architecture and maintaining the solution design of instagrams,
- Designing platform solutions and work closely with data engineers and analysts in these solutions,
- Training and assisting junior developers and engineers in projects for new solutions design and development,
- Evaluating technical assessments and enforcing the latest business standards (IT control tower KPIs),
- Aligning with all relevant stakeholders throughout the design and development of new solutions (for ex. Informing leadership on technological landscapes and lifecycles).
Who are you?
- 7+ years of relevant experience in the field of data engineering,
- Expertise in cloud solutions and Azure infrastructure,
- Hands-on experience in building data solutions with Bid Data and Orchestrations tooling (i.e. Databricks, Spark, Airflow),
- Experience in coaching and mentoring less experienced team members in design and development activities,
- Relevant certifications like Azure DP-203, PCAP for Python, and Databricks Associate Data Engineering are a plus,
- Strong stakeholders management and communication skills.
