The Rookie Program

Do you have what it takes to make an impact?! Join the Under Armour Rookie (internship) Program:

• Start date 1st of February ‘25 until 30th of June ‘25

In order to be eligible for an internship you must be:

• Enrolled in a Dutch University (not on-line) in a Bachelor or a Master for the entire duration of the program (full 5 months) AND be an EU citizen passport holder OR a Non-EU Citizen studying in the Netherlands (Internship should be then a mandatory part of your curriculum).

Our internship program is designed to provide a holistic understanding of the Under Armour brand. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to participate in our Teammate Resource Groups, where you can share experiences, build relationships, and grow as a team. You will also step inside the exciting world of retail and explore the fast-paced environment that keeps our customers coming back for more.

Purpose of Role

As a Finance Intern, you'll play a crucial role in enhancing our financial strategies and operations. Your main project will be to streamline and elevate UA reporting, across all business units (Revenue, Margin and Operating Costs). Moreover, you’ll support cross functional teams when raising purchase orders, you’ll act as main point of contact to facilitate creation of purchase orders, track actuals vs budget, monitor and analyze variances vs budget, to ensure the spend is in line with the financial forecast.

These initiatives will be instrumental in optimizing our spend across serval business units, facilitating alignment across teams and ensuring we drive sustainable sales growth while maintaining profitability.

Your Impact

• Evolve current reporting structures to enable business segment insights.
• Create insightful scorecards to highlight areas of opportunity or risk within the business.
• Collaborate cross-functionally within Finance, Controlling and Business partners to elevate and enhance cost controls.

Qualifications

• Student of: Finance or Business Administration or Management.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Proficient in Excel and other analytical tools; familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) is a plus.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
• Proactive and self-motivated, with a keen interest in financial strategy and Data Analytics
• Passionate about sports.
