Mission
Your RoleWe are looking for a Geneticist, a highly motivated team player, who will work in Boxmeer (The Netherlands) within our central R&D team. You will be part of the Global Genotyping Team of Hendrix Genetics and play an integral part in ensuring the breeding programs in layers, turkeys, swine, aquaculture and traditional poultry have high quality genotypes available for genomic selection. Your responsibility within the Global Genotyping Team will be timely processing of genotypes, while assuring the quality is on par. In addition, you will contribute to research activities of the global R&D team which are aimed at improving our breeding programs.

- Master or Ph D degree in Animal Breeding or Animal Science.
- Proven understanding of quantitative genetics and basic knowledge of data analysis.
- Programming skills in R.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Team player at heart.
- Creative problem solver.
- Good understanding of genomics and experience in working with large scale genotype data is an advantage.
