EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:



Essential Qualifications/Experience:


· Higher vocational training in a relevant discipline with 3 years post-related experience. Or a secondary educational qualification with 5 years post-related experience


· Competent and experienced in the application of Project Management methodology such as PRINCE2 as well as the Project Management techniques. The lack of formal qualifications can be compensated by the demonstration of expertise and experience in the domain


· Experience in maintaining Share Point workspace and portals


· Experience with ERP Financials Systems (i.e. Oracle, SAP and similar)


· Competent and experienced with principles of accounting and finance


· A thorough knowledge of one of the two NATO languages, both written and spoken, is essential and some knowledge of the other is desirable



· A good knowledge of NATO and NATO procedures


· Good knowledge on the Information Technology Instruction Library (ITIL): Design, Strategy, Transition, Operations, Continual improvement


· Prior experience of working in an international environment comprising both military and civilian elements



· Perform tasks in the area of Supporting Portfolio Controls


· Perform project status monitoring tasks


· Perform analysis trends and forecast reports


· Perform resource utilisations controls


· Create procurement requisitions in ERP toolset (EBA)


· Report budget execution status


· Perform data handling and versioning of internal documents


· Support quality assurance methodology process/practices


· Execute resource assignments and associated Time Accounting approval


· Support Geo Met Oc related meetings coordination


· Report on progress execution and flagging of exception trends to Managers


· Perform ad-hoc geospatial production support tasks


· Assist project staff on any other matters as directed by the Geo Met Oc Services Branch Chief
