Job Description

For our headquarters in the Netherlands, we are seeking a seasoned Global Director Quality to spearhead our operational quality assurance and operational risk & compliance efforts on a global scale. Reporting directly to the Director of Operational Excellence, this pivotal role is designed to elevate our quality management systems, bring them together under one umbrella, ensuring global alignment and compliance meeting and exceeding industry standards. You are in the possession of a strong track record in leading quality initiatives within a large, multinational organization, ideally within the engineering, maritime, or environmental sectors.

As a leader in Geo-risk solutions, we invite you to step into the role of Global Director Quality based in the Netherlands. This position is tailored for those who have honed their skills in industry roles such as quality director or director QHSSE.

Your role:

You provide Senior Management with competent Risk and Quality advice and guidance on the need for and development of Policies and Standards;
You develop and drive the implementation of the Fugro Quality Management System;
You monitor Quality and risk compliance;
You provide analysis, advice, guidance and support on Quality and operational risk matters within the Fugro Group;
You create a forum where knowledge, experience and learning relating to Quality and Risk issues contribute to improving the performance throughout Fugro;

Your track record

You have a MSc. or BSc. degree in an industry associated discipline and significant experience as a manager QHSSE, Quality Director (5+ years);
You are skilled in managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders, fostering collaboration and satisfaction;
You have strong leadership skills to inspire and motivate a diverse team of professionals across various international locations;
You have a deep understanding of regulatory requirements and protocols, ensuring compliance across all operations;
You are committed achieving operational excellence across diverse geographical regions;
You have strong financial management skills to oversee budgetary planning and adherence, ensuring economic viability;
You have the ability to make informed and timely decisions to ensure smooth global quality operations under pressure.
