What you will do
As a Graphic Design Intern, you'll be a key part of the Marketing Team. Graphic Design is responsible for implementing and guiding the look and feel of the Tiqets brand across our many touchpoints. You’ll work closely with visual designers, social media specialists, copywriters, and business development stakeholders.
We’re looking for a bright, creative, and fun student with the skills to contribute to our team. You will work alongside, and assist, one experienced visual designer. Your day-to-day work will consist of creating compelling designs that will inspire our customers and partners through a variety of media channels – from social media and digital campaigns to event designing or printed materials.
Responsibilities

• Think creatively to develop engaging visual communication across all our channels. These include a wide variety of mediums such as social media, promotions, presentations, email campaigns, web pages, banners, print etc.
• Support the social media manager to create templates and come up with fresh design ideas and campaigns.
• Maintain high-quality visual consistency on finished works, helping fellow Tiqeteers present a consistent image to the world.
• Assist in revisions of work as necessary.

Requirements

• You are enrolled as a student in a relevant field of study (Graphic Design, Media Arts, or similar) for the whole period of the internship. If you are not a student anymore, we cannot proceed!
• You are living in or close to Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
• You are available for a period of 5 to 6 months.
• Please note that this is not a UI/UX design internship.
• You have a compelling design portfolio.
• You are up for an exciting challenge in a fast-paced environment and have a desire to design for both print and digital media.
• Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe In Design and Sketch are your digital bibles.
• Good working knowledge of Adobe After Effects & Adobe Premiere Pro.
• You know how to organise your files, layers and folders to make the lives of colleagues easier (it’s a BIG PLUS).
• You have excellent English communication skills.
• You are comfortable working with tight deadlines and able to efficiently manage your own projects and time.
