Job Description:
As a Housekeeping and Breakfast Host, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and lively atmosphere of our hostel. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring cleanliness throughout the hostel, including guest rooms and common areas, to uphold our high standards of hygiene and comfort.
- Setting up and maintaining our buffet breakfast, ensuring that all food and beverages are stocked up, fresh, and delicious throughout the morning rush.
- Engaging with guests during breakfast service, providing a friendly and welcoming atmosphere while assisting with any inquiries or needs they may have.
- Contributing to the lively atmosphere of the hostel by preparing spaces for hostel events and parties, ensuring that common areas are welcoming and well-prepared.
- Helping our bar tender and evening receptionist with glasses collection and washing of our guest-only bar, while maintaining the cleanliness throughout the hostel during the evening times.
Requirements:
- EU passport or valid working permit for the Netherlands.
- Available immediately
- Availability for full-time employment, consisting of 30 to 40 hours per week divided over 5 days.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to cleanliness and hygiene.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and outgoing personality.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred but not required.
