Fashion for Good seeks an Impact Analyst who will be responsible for all endeavours related to impact at Fashion for Good. This includes conducting screening LCAs with our external LCA consultant, impact projections and providing input on impact due diligence for innovators across the supply chain.
As part of this, s/he
Analysis and Impact Tracking

• Execute in depth due diligence with a focus on the impact feasibility of the innovation

• Conduct screening life cycle assessments with external LCA consultant on selected innovations and processes, benchmarking against conventional solutions

• Conduct due diligence assessments together with the Innovation Platform team with a focus on impact

• Maintain the Fashion for Good impact projections, collate yearly impact data from alumni innovators, update baseline impact data, revise FFG impact goals where relevant

Project and Stakeholder Management

• Lead and coordinate all screening LCAs with internal and external stakeholders

• Assist in general Innovation Platform activities (including operations and day to day business activities)

• Provide analytical support to ongoing projects specifically relating to impact assessments

• Be the go to person for any innovator or partner questions on impact

• Continue to look for ways to develop and improve impact at Fashion for Good

• Work closely with ecosystem partners including Sustainable Apparel Coalition and Textile Exchange to stay abreast of developments within the industry

• Prepare presentations and support innovators in preparing presentations to synthesise findings to stakeholders

• Write reports describing findings and recommendations for follow up action

• The Innovation Analyst plays a bridging function between innovators, FFG’s partners (brands, retailers and manufacturers) and NGOs

• Document all associated interactions in relevant tools (ex: airtable, landscape reports, etc)

About you

The ideal candidate has a relevant track record and combines strong interpersonal skills with a self-starting, proactive attitude.
The following skills/knowledge are essential:

• Technical and demonstrated understanding of how to conduct a screening LCA, impact measurement and data analysis
  
• Specific knowledge or experience within the fashion / textile industry is a plus
  
• Self-starter with strong organisational and time management skills
  


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  


• Creative thinker with the ability for sound judgement and accountability
  


• A pro-active, enthusiastic, can-do attitude and comfortable dealing with uncertainty
  
• Capacity to adapt to different settings and to work in a demanding and multicultural environment
  
• Strong powerpoint and excel skills (G-Suite)
  
• Strong analytical and research skills with attention to detail
  
• A good understanding of the supply chain & the fashion industry
  
• 1 year of work experience utilising impact measurement background in any industry supply chains; in the fashion supply chain is a plus
  

EDUCATION
Bachelor of Science in Environmental Sciences, Sustainability, Material Science, Textiles or Chemical Engineering (a focus on textiles or apparel is a plus) further qualifications eg; a Masters is a plus

Proficiency in English is a requirement
