IT Integrator (Feature Engineer)

We are seeking an experienced IT integrator (feature engineer) to join our WB TS reporting & cards area team within Wholesale Banking Tech (WB Tech). In this role, you will coordinate feature planning, remove obstacles, and ensure timely, cost-effective software delivery that meets business needs. You will work across teams and organizational boundaries to ensure smooth and efficient feature delivery to achieve Quarterly Business Review (QBR) commitments.
As part of the Global Customer Reporting Platform (GCRP) services, you will collaborate with internationally diverse squads to drive the platform’s success. Additionally, as a member of the Feature Engineers Chapter, you will focus on developing your skills and contributing to continuous improvement.

Your responsibilities:
- Collaborate with customer journey experts/business analysts to ensure business requirements are clearly defined.
- Coordinate with solution and domain architects to ensure designs are aligned.
- Create and manage feature planning, fostering cooperation across squads and ensuring on-time delivery.
- Review technical solution directions and dependencies with business analysts, architects, and squad members.
- Facilitate end-to-end testing to ensure delivered features meet both business and technical expectations.
- Slice epics into features, leveraging your business and IT knowledge to manage cross-domain needs and dependencies.
- Contribute to roadmap planning sessions, shaping features in alignment with vision, themes, and epics.
- Involve the right squads, teams, and specialists in the agile build cycle.
- Advise product owners on feature dependencies, priorities, and backlog alignment across squads.
Who are you?
Skills and experience:
- Bachelor's or master’s degree.
- Proven leadership skills with a track record in IT project management and agile delivery.
- Experience in feature refinement and design, advising product owners on dependencies and priorities.
- Knowledge of databases, Java (including APIs), Kafka, and possibly Tibco/EMS is a plus.
- Familiarity with finance/payments, particularly in customer reporting or payments, is highly desirable.
- Proactive with a strong drive to deliver results on time.
- A team player who motivates and influences others effectively.
- Structured, detail-oriented, and able to maintain a broad view of the overall project.
- Self-organizing, pragmatic, and always seeking improvement opportunities.
- Resilient, patient, and capable of handling complex tasks.
- Eager to learn and stay up-to-date with new technologies and methodologies.
What we offer:
- Initial 12-month contract with the intention of transitioning to a permanent contract at ING.
- 36/40 hour work week.
- Salary range: €5.996,00 - €6.950,00 gross per month (based on 40 hours per week)
- Holiday payments and a 13th month salary.
- Full pension in accordance with the Dutch temporary labour CLA.
- Hybrid working environment (in-office and remote flexibility).
