This role involves a significant focus on logic and algorithmic optimization. You’ll use these skills to build models that simplify complex workflows, ensuring that plans are efficient, and data driven. We are looking for a person who is eager to understand and solve the supply chain challenges for our customers in different industries. These companies are front-runners in their field, like Coca-Cola, Heineken, Ikea, ASML, Damen, J&J, Amgen, DSM and more. You’ll have the opportunity to design and implement innovative approaches that push the organization forward, offering fresh ways to solve challenges and meet objectives.
In your role you will combine supply chain modelling and supply consultancy skills to deliver a tool that brings these companies to the next level. Working in an international team you will lead workshops with customers, develop and model the solution with your team, and implement your solution at the customer. Off course you will train your customers in using the solution and provide support them where needed.
Your responsibilities
As a Planning Systems Consultant, your role will include:
- Engaging with Stakeholders: Collaborate with various teams to facilitate change and ensure everyone is on the same page.
- Translating business challenges: Help our customers in translating their challenges into workable solutions that help their company forward.
- Training & Support: Organize training sessions and provide support for both customers and Eye On to understand the latest developments.
- Driving Innovation: Be a catalyst for innovation in the supply chain space, helping us stay ahead of the curve.
- Advice on latest trends & technologies: Guide our customers on the latest innovations on AI & optimization and help them gain maximum value out of these innovations.
- Provide onsite (EU & beyond) workshops and demonstrations: Travel within the EU and occasionally US to provide onsite expertise.
Your profile
The ideal candidate would have:
- A master’s degree in engineering, economics, IT, or equivalent work experience.
- Familiarity with supply chain processes and digital transformation.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, international environment.
- A keen interest in the latest trends in supply chain planning, especially around big data and AI.
- A passion for advocating innovative solutions
- Affinity for data modeling
