sensing platform, we are offering a unique lab research technician opportunity for recent graduates. The
job has a large degree of flexibility and great potential for long-term growth.
Job Description & Responsibilities
We are looking for a curious engineer / scientist with hands-on lab skills and experience to solve highly
complex engineering problems through laboratory research.
The position is envisioned as a fulltime function (36 hours/week) with the following main responsibilities:

• Designing, executing, and analysing lab experiments to answer engineering questions around our

products.

• Helping our CTO with the production, packaging, and testing of sensors in our lab facilities.
• Composing templates and reports for production control.

The position has limited flexibility to work from home, as most responsibilities include work in lab
facilities. The documentation and process control parts can be done remotely. Other activities take place
in the facilities at YES!Delft in Delft, The Netherlands.
Your Qualifications and Skills
If you like the idea of applying your research curiosity hands-on in a lab, are comfortable handling and
assembling very small components, and fulfill the below requirements, this position would be a great fit
for you! To qualify you must:

• Have a BS, BSc, or MSc in lab technology, biomedical engineering, microsystems, materials

science, biology or similar subjects.

• Have a demonstrated history of answering research questions independently by designing and

executing experiments and analysing their results.

• Have (academic or industrial) experience in laboratory work, including experiment design, high-

precision assembly tasks, data analysis and interpretation, documenting findings and following
protocols.

• Be a detail-oriented person, able to perform work both independently and as part of a team.
• Preferably have 1-4 years of professional experience working in a laboratory

research/manufacturing setting under process controls.
