ABOUT THE ROLE
Leo Vegas is seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Junior Social Media Manager to join our diverse & dynamic team in supporting the Dutch market. This role is perfect for someone with a strong interest in social media, sports, and digital marketing who is eager to grow their career in a fast-paced environment.
YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

Assist with the management of our social media profiles (Facebook, Instagram, etc.) with laser focus, executing a winning strategy that aligns with our overall marketing goals. - Assist in creating and scheduling engaging content that brings our brands to life and speaks directly to the Dutch gaming audience.
- Help monitor and respond to comments and messages on social channels with the aim of building and nurturing a thriving online community of players.
- Support the team in developing social media strategies, calendars, and campaigns.
- Contribute to the analysis of social media metrics and prepare basic reports
- Keep your finger on the pulse of the latest social media trends, platform updates, and cultural nuances to ensure our content is always relevant, fresh, and engaging.
- Ensure all social media activities adhere to regulations and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure consistent brand messaging.
OUR SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- Native-level Dutch, and excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field;
- Strong understanding of major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter/X, You Tube)
- Proficiency in basic social media management tools
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Passion for social media and its role in brand building
- A basic understanding of the Dutch market
- Excellent attitude and strong work ethic
- Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of social media marketing
- Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and platforms
- Creative thinker with a keen eye for visual content
- Interest in sports and current events
NICE TO HAVES
-
1-2 years of experience in Social Media Management - Background in Sports Journalism (internships or freelance work accepted)
- Entry-level experience in Digital Marketing for a global brand or at an agency
- Knowledge of Dutch gambling regulations.
