Currently, we’re strengthening our modelling team since there several challenges ahead within credit risk modelling. Due to a colleague moving towards a new role within Triodos we would like to bring on board an enthusiastic new modeller for a permanent contract who wants to work with us to further develop, implement and improve finance and risk models with our modelling team.

Profile

How you will make a difference
You will help us to ''change finance to finance change'', by improving the modelling of the financial risks of the bank. The modelling team has a broad scope in modelling, interest rate risk, client behaviour risk and credit risk.
You will focus on credit risk modelling and together with the team:

• You will develop, implement and manage risk models that demonstrably fit the organization.
• You will define model changes in terms of (detailed) specifications, in coordination with the stakeholders, and documenting decisions, assumptions and requirements.
• You will perform data analysis and complex statistical analysis, using various modelling and testing techniques.

To be successful in this role, you will:

• have an analytical mind and like to solve complex puzzles
• be independent, practical, structured and accurate
• have eye for quality improvement and innovation

Furthermore, it is expected that you will have:

• expertise in a quantitative field such as mathematics, econometrics or physics
• excellent command of English; command of Dutch/German/Spanish is an advantage
• experience in IFRS9 ECL (PD/LGD) credit risk model development
• experience or affinity with programming, and committed to learn to work with SAS and Databricks

You will join the Modelling team currently consisting of 7 people. This is a young, friendly team of hard workers. With various ambitious goals and deadlines on the agenda, the team is guaranteed to have enough challenging work ahead.
