Networking Product Manager
Job description
Job Objective:
We are looking for an individual with years of experience in product management, who will be responsible for all aspects of product line management. Possesses flexibility and excellent communication skills to provide leadership in Wireless/Wired product line management. As a Product Line Manager, he will act as bridge between technical and business world as he can provide feedback and developing proposals on products with clear functionality, customer value and development requirements.
Responsibilities:
· Discover and prioritize customer use cases and requirements.
· Price benchmark
· Define product strategy, roadmap, positioning, and pricing for switch products
· Planning and preparing/updating presentations, updating CRM
· Serve as a technical resource and key strategic advisor for salesperson for switch products
· Communicating product developments towards Headquarter / R&D Department
· Carry out product testing for new switch products
· Provide feedback on results of product testing
· Liaise with other departments such as inside and outside sales, marketing, and logistics.
Job Specifications:
· Minimum 5 to 10 years working experience in wireless/wired technology
· Strong business background desired
· Knowledge for switch products
· Passion for learning about networking and cloud technologies
· Track record of motivating and driving large projects and large teams effectively
· Demonstrates success in driving product initiatives where outcomes were paramount to the health or strategic differentiation over the overall business
· Ability to manage multiple tasks and work towards long-term goals
· Enthusiastic and self-motivated
· Fluent in written and spoken English; knowledge of Mandarin Chinese is a plus.
