The Role
As a market researcher in iwell’s international team, you will play a pivotal role in our global expansion efforts. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct thorough market research to evaluate the feasibility of entering new international markets. This involves analyzing complex and technical aspects of the energy sector, including energy trading opportunities, k Wh price dynamics, and the momentum of the energy transition in various countries. You will work closely with one of the International Business Developers, to align your research efforts with the team’s goals.


Key Responsibilities

• Market analysis: Conduct detailed market research to identify and evaluate potential new markets for iwell’s battery technology, starting with Italy.
  
• Data collection: Gather and analyse data through desk research on various criteria, such as energy trading markets, average k Wh prices, regulatory environments, and the status of energy transitions.
  
• Present and report findings: Report back your findings and recommendations to the international expansion team in a clear way and include your thoughts and recommendations.
  
  

Requirements

• Educational background: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in business, economics, energy studies, or a related field.
  
• Knowledge energy markets: Affinity and knowledge around energy markets and the energy transition is a big plus.
  
• Analytical skills: Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to interpret complex technical data and translate it into insights and conclusions.
  

Time commitment
Availability to work 16 to 24 hours per week, with a desired presence once a week at our Utrecht office.
