PANZERO’ JOB DESCRIPTION
Panzero’ Cook
Reports To: Supervisor – Kitchen
Position Summary: The Panzeró Cook is the starting and ultimate point for ensuring the excellent quality of Panzero’ food. The cook is ultimately responsible for food processing, handling various preparations, preparing customers’ orders in a timely manner and according to standards, ingredients’ stock, helping with weekly orders to suppliers and maintaining exceptional cleaning standards of the working areas.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepare mise en place and process ingredients:
1. Set up the mise en place of the ingredients according to the flow of service.
2. Ensure all preparations are executed following both Panzero’ as well as HACCP standards.
3. Become a Panzero’ ambassador by ensuring (and double checking for) high standards. Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the working areas by:
4. Proper storage of food and utensils
5. Following FIFO policy
6. Collaborate with management to do weekly orders.
7. Light paperwork: filling checklists, ensure packing slips (“pakbon”) and
orders are shared with the right parties.
Prepares business premises as well as food supply to customers :
1. Prepares working areas and prepares and/or finalizes menu items.
2. Correctly maintains equipment and appliances.
3. Collaborate with hospitality staff to ensure high-standard service and excellent dining experience.
Manages inventory:
1. Monitor and manage stock.
2. Check the inventory.
3. Receive and check the products and goods.
4. Unpack and store the order.
5. Transport and store ingredients and goods.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Education: Some high school or equivalent.
Experience & Skills:

• Previous experience in similar roles as a cook is preferred.

• English required (at least B1).

• Customer service and friendly attitude are needed both to deal with customers as well as for being a team player.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks; attention to detail and a positive attitude are essential.

• HACCP certificate is a plus.

Availability:

• You are available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Physical: Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights (up to 20 kg)
