About the role & the team

In this role, you will primarily focus on TV apps interfaces and occasionally on web and mobile platforms. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will design user-centric experiences that enhance how users engage with content on TV screens. From concept to final pixel, you’ll ensure that designs are optimized for various screen resolutions and user environments.

Responsibilities

• Design easy-to-use and attractive user interfaces for TV our platforms.
• Create high-quality mockups and interactive prototypes.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and other stakeholders to turn business goals and user needs into practical designs.
• Ensure consistency in UI elements and design patterns across the TV experience by working closely with our design team.

• 2-5 years of professional experience working in cross-functional teams, ideally in B2C environments.
• You have strong communication and collaboration skills; you can clearly explain ideas, influence stakeholders, actively listen and provide feedback.
• You have experience with A/B testing and an iterative design process.
• You have experience with important design tools like Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, and you know how to work with tools like Jira and Design Systems.
• You are fluent in English.
• You are living in the Netherlands: we want to see you regularly in our office. (Please note that for this position we do not offer a VISA sponsorship).

Our hiring process

1. Apply: Apply for a role, and we will contact you.
2. HR Interview (online): one of our recruiters will contact you, because we’d really like to find out more about you and to see if there is a culture fit between you and XITE. During this interview you can ask all your questions about the company.
3. Interview with our Head of UX/UI (online): in this interview you will meet your future manager who wants to get to know you, your experience and motivation a bit better.
4. Portfolio case presentation & meeting the team (office): you will present your portfolio for a few of our stakeholders that you will work with in this role. After the presentation you will meet the rest of the Design Team.
5. Final call with our CPO (online): This is the last interview with our CPO, who is responsible for the design team at XITE.
6. Reference check: We ask you for 2 references that we can give a call and ask a few questions as a part of our hiring process.
7. Offer: Hopefully with our offer, we can welcome you to the team of XITE!
