We are looking for a world-class, passionate, motivated, and data-driven Product Manager, reporting to Group Product Manager, to build innovative products that will help users find the best accommodation deal and help Vio stand out from the competition. Grow direct bookings by increasing user conversion, retention and loyalty. Strong focus on mobile platform, product discovery and innovation.
As part of our Direct product group, you build, drive and lead a cross-functional team of UX designer, Engineers, Analyst, and UX researcher to ship new products across all platforms (app, mobile web and desktop) that will delight our users.
The team and the product are in the heart of Vio ability to connect travellers to the best deal and to empower them with detailed information to be able to make the best-informed decision for every stay.

What you will do
-
Lead a range of engagement and conversion products with a particular focus on mobile, working with Group PM to build out the product strategy focused on driving direct bookings and user loyalty.

Understand and communicate the problems of our users and customers.

Define requirements for a solution that is loved by our users and customers.

Optimise for long-term value/outcome of the product.

Manage a product roadmap for a set of features from inception through implementation; collect requirements, establish key performance metrics, craft the user experience and drive execution.

Understand and explain complex technical issues, discern impact, and communicate them to maximise clarity and drive resolution.

Collaborate closely with Data science / Analysts / User research to dive deep into our data to understand our users.

Formulate clear, testable hypotheses based on product insights and business goals, collaborate closely with the product analyst to design experiments, conduct complex analyses, and interpret results.

Work with business leaders to help shape and drive business cases for product features.

Ideate and wireframe new features that will be in the hands of millions of users across the globe.

Identify the essential qualities of each feature: what's important, what's not, how can we limit cost and risk.
Who you are
-
You have at least 5 years experience as a product manager, guiding high-performing teams to build and deploy great customer-focused products.
-
You strive to deeply understand and delight customers, using your strong product intuition to invent on their behalf.
-
You have a strong foundation in data literacy, with the ability to interpret analytical results and conduct initial data exploration effectively.
-
You possess a keen ability to identify relevant success metrics and KPIs, and have a track record of translating data insights into actionable product strategies.
-
You have thrived in a consumer product role and are experienced in delivering delightful features at scale that drive large swings in key metrics (conversion rate, engagement, LTV, user retention, user satisfaction).

You are experienced in finding innovative solutions for real-world user problems, aligned with the business needs of a rapidly scaling organisation.

You have a successful track record of shipping impressive applications and services.

You know how to inspire, motivate and support a team to deliver.

You are experienced with user & data-driven product development according to agile principles, and understand the many anecdotes around user insights & data ( and when to use them ).

You always strive for clarity and transparency - an excellent communicator that can effectively collaborate both with engineers and business stakeholders.

You know how to influence decision-making at all levels within an organisation and in a variety of contexts.

You are passionate about solving problems and able to translate those solutions into requirements that your team can execute.

You have a strong bias for action and launching quickly to get feedback as early as possible.

You are extremely creative, pragmatic, and resourceful in identifying solutions and your ability to execute them.
