To strengthen our team, we offer 2 challenging positions for a Project Manager R&D for software and/or reagents development, who can turn technological advancements into innovative products for molecular diagnostics .
The Project Manager R&D at Gen Dx is highly motivated to make molecular diagnostics faster, easier and more accurate. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide customers with technical expertise, making a direct impact in either our Reagents or Software team. Your ultimate goal is to create tangible value for customers and improve outcomes for transplant patients.

Your ultimate goal is to create tangible value for customers and improve outcomes for transplant patients.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of both new and existing products
- Translate technological advancements and research outcomes into valuable product solutions for molecular diagnostics
- Prepare and manage comprehensive product documentation
- Provide technical guidance and support to Gen Dx colleagues and clients
- Oversee and support the R&D teams of technicians, software developers and bioinformaticians
- Ensure compliance with IVDR guidelines and ISO 13485 and IEC 62304 standards
- MSc or Ph D in molecular biology or bioinformatics
- 2+ years of work experience in a similar role.
- Familiarity with immunology, especially the HLA gene family, is preferred.
- Advanced project management, presentation and analytical skills.
- Experience with IVDR and ISO 13485 (and IEC 62304 for Software) is a plus.
- Excellent command of English, both spoken and written.
- Based in or willing to relocate to the proximity of Utrecht Science Park.
