Expleo has an exciting opportunity for a skilled Quality Controller to join our team and oversee the quality control of new serial trains arriving in the Netherlands. As a consultant, you will be based in the Netherlands and work closely with our teams and customers to ensure that every train meets the highest standards of quality and safety. 2. The role:


Reporting to the Project Quality & Safety Manager ICNG NL, you will perform quality controls during the commissioning and acceptance process of new trains. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting quality checks on new serial trains arriving in the Netherlands to identify any additional issues compared to shipment.
• Defining and regularly updating the Quality Control Plan for each train during the commissioning process.
• Identifying and properly registering defects during the commissioning of new trains.
• Controlling repairs and fixes to ensure a high level of quality and acceptance by the customer.
• Participating in the acceptance process with the customer and ensuring all identified defects are properly addressed.
• Performing analysis of recurring issues to contribute to the Return on Experience shared with the train manufacturing site.
• Conducting quality controls for retrofit activities performed by the PI Team.
• Ensuring the availability of Car History Book & Compliance of the commissioned train before delivery.
• Supporting containment actions and contributing to problem-solving processes in case of safety or quality issues.

3. Requirements:

• Degree level education.
• Competent IT skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook.
• Basic knowledge of the domestic market.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Technical Quality environment.
• Experience as a Technical Quality Controller is a plus.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proactive and customer-focused with a strong sense of urgency.
• Ability to work autonomously, with good initiative and problem-solving skills.
• Fluency in English (speaking and writing) is required; proficiency in Dutch (speaking and writing) is highly desirable.
