Job Description

Regional Country Controller

Location: Netherlands, Rotterdam - hybrid model of work

Reporting to: LAR ACCOUNTING & CONTROLLING GROUP MANAGER

Your Responsibilities:

Reporting of financial data for several countries including the preparation of HQ reporting packages
Coordination of monthly, quarterly and year end close
Full Country Accounting, Statutory and Tax responsibility
Ensure all balance sheet reconciliations are reconciled
Primary contact for Our external and internal auditors and other outside financial consultants or authorities
Ensure compliance with Corporate Finance Policies, SOX and US GAAP
Collaborate with Internal Control for creation, changing and implementation of financial procedures and financial controls
Provide technical accounting support to improve processes.
Take part in international projects
Monitor, challenges and specifies improvements to business systems and practices to ensure control and proper measurement of business activities.
Report on and comments upon movements in actual.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

work experience of at least 3 to 5 years in a similar accounting function in an International company
higher education in accounting or finance with a accounting emphasis ACCA, CMA, AA, RC, CPA or equivalent
Fluency in Spanish
Experience - reporting with the Oracle and ERP systems,

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

experience in a Shared Services environment
team leader experience
