About the Role: Fluid Branding is a leading provider of promotional merchandise, and we are looking for a dynamic, customer-focused Retail Assistant to join our team, operating within the Booking.com office in Amsterdam. You will be the face of our brand in the retail space, responsible for selling and promoting a wide range of merchandise on behalf of Fluid Branding. If you have a passion for customer service, enjoy engaging with people, and are interested in helping Booking.com employees and visitors find the perfect promotional products, this role is for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome and assist customers visiting the retail space, ensuring a high level of customer service at all times.
- Provide product information and promote Fluid Branding’s merchandise in line with Booking.com’s brand.
- Handle sales transactions, ensuring accurate card payments.
- Maintain a well-organised, visually appealing retail space, including restocking and managing inventory.
- Collaborate with the Fluid Branding team to ensure the merchandise aligns with seasonal campaigns and promotions.
- Build relationships with regular customers and offer personalised recommendations.
- Assist with product inquiries, pricing, and availability.
- Maintain a clean and inviting shopping environment.
- Previous retail experience is preferred but not essential.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- A positive, proactive attitude with an ability to work independently.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working with POS systems and handling transactions.
- Fluency in English is essential; Dutch or other languages would be a plus.
