What are you going to do?

• Lead the design and development of high-quality technical documentation, including manuals, user guides and online content;
• Collaborate with technical experts to translate complex concepts into clear and concise text;
• Maintain and update existing documentation;
• Monitor and enforce documentation standards and guidelines;
Analysing user feedback and making improvements to optimise user experience.

Where are you going to work?
As a Senior Technical Author, you will be working for leading, often international organisations. You will work within multidisciplinary project teams with a high degree of autonomy. Projects are carried out partly at one of our offices in the Netherlands and partly at home and on location at the client's premises. Flexible workplaces and remote working are very common, and so are flexible working hours. Within Etteplan, you are never alone. Together with about 60 other technical writers, there is always an opportunity to spar or exchange ideas. In addition, you report weekly to your project leader or project manager.

What do we ask?

• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Technical Author in a technical environment;
• Excellent command of the English language verbally and in writing, proficiency in the Dutch language is a plus;
• Willingness to travel and work at your client's premises. Being in possession of a driving license is very useful;
• Knowledge of documentation and publishing tools and ability to work well with various software packages.
