Overview
The Azure Infrastructure team's purpose is aimed at enhancing our clients' digital capabilities and ensuring that their infrastructure is robust, scalable, and capable of meeting the evolving needs of their business. Microsoft’s Commercial Solution Area (CSA) sets the sales strategy, leads technical sales, and operations as a hub for the Commercial Solution Areas and Support Services that power the Microsoft Cloud. We work closely with other Microsoft teams and partners, especially Customer Success, Marketing, and the STU, to ensure those solutions meet our customers’ needs.

The job purpose of an Azure Infrastructure Sales Specialist is to develop new business, build strong business relationships, and drive Azure Cloud Services and partner integration. The role involves creating and executing a business plan to achieve revenue and segment goals, developing a healthy Azure pipeline of qualified opportunities, and ensuring customer and partner satisfaction for Azure products and solutions

As an Azure Infra Specialist, you are a senior business leader with technical and business expertise within our enterprise sales organization, working with our most important customers.

  • You will lead a virtual team of sales, technical, and services resources to help customers realize the digital transformation through cloud computing.
  • You will develop and maintain a holistic Azure migration and modernization expertise, able to identify projects, build a compellingbusiness case, and drive the consumption project to production.
  • You will build and maintain relationships with customers, influence long-term strategic direction and act as a trusted advisor driving engagement at the CXO level with business and technology decision makers.

Responsibilities
  • Create “buy-in” vision with key decision makers by building executive relationships to generate excitement around Microsoft solutions’ value to influence long-term strategic direction
  • Engage and jointly sell with Partners and Priority ISVs to maximize business results by bringing together Microsoft and Partner solutions to deliver against customer business outcomes
  • Build business cases and customer proposals to substantiate the value of the solution leveraging available programs and offer to negotiate, close the deal and successfully displace competition.
  • Lead multi-million-dollar deals requiring orchestration of virtual teams composed of industry, solution, technical, licensing & legal team members.
  • Drive Sales Excellence: Exceed sales / cloud consumption quota by driving pipeline management and accurate forecasting.
  • Be the Voice of the Customer: Share feedback, best practices to influence Microsoft Go-To-Market and product strategies
Qualifications
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration,
  • OR related field AND technology-related sales or account management experience;
  • OR demonstrated techhnology-related sales or account management experience
  • Experience leading the sales of large cloud engagements, especially those involving Infrastructure migration and application modernization projects to large/global enterprise customers
Fluent Dutch & English required

Additional or Preferred Qualifications (PQs)
  • Strong Sales Account Planning and Management:
  • Executive Presence.
  • Collaborative.
  • Consumption Business Strategy / Project Management.
  • Cloud Platform - Understanding of Microsoft Azure Cloud platform, or other public cloud platforms, including Iaa S and Paa S technologies and how they translate into business impact. Versed in cloud migration and modernization.
  • Understanding of partner and competitor ecosystems and the ability to leverage partner solutions to solve customer needs
