Role Overview: As a Business Developer for Treasury Risk Solutions in the Netherlands, you will be instrumental in introducing and expanding Investec's offerings in this region. Based in Amsterdam, this role is part of a dynamic European team headquartered in Dublin, Ireland, with frequent interactions with our teams in Dublin and London.

Key Responsibilities:

• Client Identification and Engagement: Identify potential target clients and engage with key decision-makers within these companies.
• Lead Generation: Utilize various channels such as cold calling, Linked In, email, and industry networking to identify and target potential clients.
• Sales Process Management: Collaborate with the Business Development team to guide clients from the inception of the relationship through onboarding, maintaining strong ongoing contact.
• Team Collaboration: Work alongside colleagues to refine the sales proposition and build a market-leading team within the jurisdiction.
• Target Achievement: Set and achieve ambitious sales targets to grow the business effectively.
• Culture Development: Contribute to creating and maintaining a high-performance culture within the team.

Core Skills & Knowledge:

• Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to communicate effectively and build relationships, both in-person and remotely.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in Dutch and English.
• Sales Experience: Experience in selling FX/Corporate Treasury services is desirable.
• Market Knowledge: Existing knowledge and networks within the local market.
• Financial Understanding: Strong grasp of financial accounts.
• Team Experience: Proven track record in a high-performing team.
