Known for our award-winning treasury risk management solutions, Investec is expanding this business into new European markets, starting with the Netherlands.
Role Overview: As a Senior Business Developer for Treasury Risk Solutions in the Netherlands, you will play a pivotal role in introducing and expanding Investec's Treasury Risk Solutions to the Dutch market. This position is based in Amsterdam and is part of a larger European team headquartered in Dublin, Ireland.

Team: Treasury Risk Solutions (TRS)

TRS Sales Team
TRS Dealers
Onboarding, Credit & Risk, Compliance, Operations
Other Investec teams engaged in the Netherlands

Key Responsibilities:

Client Engagement: Identify and engage with potential clients, guiding them from initial contact through to onboarding, and maintaining ongoing relationships.
Market Analysis: Acquire a deep understanding of Investec's Treasury Risk offerings and provide feedback to tailor and enhance the sales proposition locally.
Networking: Build and develop networks with relevant industry bodies, professional services firms, and potential referral partners.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues to build a highly effective, market-leading team in the Netherlands.
Sales Targets: Set and achieve ambitious targets to grow the business effectively.
Performance Culture: Help to foster a culture of high performance and continuous improvement within the team.
Reporting: Track progress and provide comprehensive reports to management teams in Ireland and the UK.

Core Skills & Knowledge:

Industry Experience: Proven experience in selling FX/Corporate Treasury services.
Market Knowledge: Existing deep networks and knowledge of the local market.
Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to communicate effectively and build relationships, both in person and remotely.
Language Proficiency: Fluency in Dutch and English.
Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of financial accounts, credit risk, and treasury risk management.
Team Experience: Experience working in a high-performing team.
