Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Sous Chef to join our talented kitchen team. As a Sous Chef at Restaurant Flame, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of our kitchen, assisting the Head Chef in daily operations, and inspiring our team to deliver outstanding dishes.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Assist the Head Chef in menu planning and development.
- Oversee kitchen operations and ensure food quality and presentation meet our standards.
- Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff.
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain cost control.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the team to create new and exciting dishes.
**Qualifications:**
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role.
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure.
- Creative and passionate about food and hospitality.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
