What you’ll do

Platform Strategy and Development: Work closely with the Principal Engineer and architects to design and implement platform solutions, including Out Systems, Sitecore, and other digital systems that drive business scalability.
Technical Leadership: Guide your team through the development lifecycle, ensuring high standards for technical excellence and innovation in platform and system engineering.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product teams and other stakeholders to ensure platform solutions align with business objectives and integrate seamlessly with existing systems.
Team Leadership: Lead and grow a multidisciplinary team of engineers and developers, supporting both their technical and professional development while fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Operational Responsibility: Manage the platform’s technical roadmap, ensure adherence to best practices, and maintain performance, security, and scalability across all systems.

Is this about you?

Experience leading development teams with a focus on platform engineering, system integration, and digital solutions.

Expertise with a broad range of technologies such as Out Systems, Sitecore, and system architecture.

Strong technical background in developing and maintaining large-scale platforms, with an understanding of platform scalability, integration, and performance optimization.

Ability to manage and mentor teams while fostering a culture of technical excellence.

A hands-on approach with a passion for problem-solving, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Background in building ecommerce, logistics or other high traffic customer facing platforms will be a big plus

You’ll be responsible for

As the Squad Lead for Tech Platforms, you’ll play a key role in leading the development of critical digital systems and platforms that support Eneco’s energy transition goals. In this role, you’ll manage a team of engineers and developers working across a range of technologies including Out Systems, Sitecore, platform engineering, and system architecture. Your leadership will be essential in delivering robust, scalable, and innovative digital solutions, while also mentoring and developing your team’s talent.

Working alongside engineers, developers, and product owners, you’ll play a critical role in shaping the platforms that power the energy transition. Your day-to-day work will involve close collaboration on system architecture, platform development, and team leadership, ensuring our platforms are built to scale and deliver impact in the rapidly changing energy sector.

What we have to offer

Gross annual salary between €91.000 and €140.000

Including Flex Budget, 8% holiday allowance, and depending on your role a bonus or collective profit sharing.
