As the Site Manager, you will lead all local operational aspects of manufacturing and processing at the Test Center site (20 employees), with full support of your management team. Your responsibilities will include aligning operations with business strategies and sales & marketing plans. You collaborate with support functions to deploy the appropriate resources (capacity, technology, knowledge) to meet agreed needs.
Your role encompasses managing, directing, and executing our environmental, health and safety programs, (ISO) quality programs and facilities. You are responsible to meet forecasted production volume, efficiency, cost targets and capital expenditure plans. As the site leader, you will develop your (diverse) team and manage their performance.

Key Responsibilities
- Define & implement the site manufacturing plan to ensure production & delivery of products in line with agreed planning and specifications. Monitor the execution of the site manufacturing plan & take corrective actions when necessary.
- Manage plant operations (including SHE, quality, maintenance, production, logistics and continuous improvement) in line with the plant manufacturing plan and in line with all dsm-firmenich manufacturing and safety requirements and practices. Ensure legal compliance.
- Ensure quality is at the core of everything we do, guaranteeing our products meet the highest standards for safety, efficacy, and consumer satisfaction.
- Manage, coach & motivate site employees, ensuring they perform and develop in a manner consistent with company expectations.
- Lead the implementation of a Continuous Improvement culture, including modeling and stimulating this behavior on the shop floor.
- Develop, implement & manage a cost-effective & efficient site organization, standard working processes & systems to enable optimal business performance. Formulate, approve, and manage the yearly P&L budget for the site. Manage CAPEX projects and life-time extension on site.
- The Site Manager has a direct link to the DSM Biotech Campus and represents Test Center in the Site Advisory Board.

- In the Netherlands, based on your experience we will offer you a base salary of € 87,893 to € 125,562 per year (based on fulltime, including holiday allowance and 13th month) and extra benefits (25 holiday days, 6% My Choice Budget, bonus, etc).
- A bachelor’s degree in business management or engineering.
- Experience managing others directly.
- Ability to develop local business plans, measures, and objectives based on overall corporate goals and directives and being able to translate these to the workfloor.
- Entrepreneurial skills in customer focus, innovation, and achieving business results.
- Background in continuous improvement techniques (Lean, Six Sigma), demonstrated through model behavior in implementation and daily follow-up.
