As a Treasury Manager, you will be responsible for optimizing cash flows, managing bank relations, and mitigating financial risks, particularly in foreign exchange and commodity transactions. You will work closely with the Group Treasurer and other finance teams to support business operations and strategic initiatives. Your proactive approach will help transition our department into a more advisory and business-partnering role, driving growth and optimizing financial outcomes.

You will be part of a small, dynamic Treasury team of three (including you) professionals within the broader Finance, Treasury & Tax department. Our team is committed to continuous learning and development, and we value a proactive approach to both internal and external challenges.
As a Treasury Manager, you will be responsible for optimizing cash flows, managing bank relations, and mitigating financial risks, particularly in foreign exchange and commodity transactions. You will work closely with the Group Treasurer and other finance teams to support business operations and strategic initiatives. Your proactive approach will help transition our department into a more advisory and business-partnering role, driving growth and optimizing financial outcomes.
What You Will Be Working On:
- Cash Management & Optimization: Streamline treasury operations, consolidate cash positions, and maximize liquidity efficiency.
- Risk Mitigation: Oversee the hedge process, manage foreign exchange and commodity risks, and ensure accurate hedge accounting documentation.
- Bank Relations: Function as the central point of contact with banks, manage bank guarantees, and optimize our relationship with financial institutions.
- Strategic Reporting: Prepare weekly, monthly, and annual cash flow reports, providing strategic recommendations to senior management.
- Trade Finance: Collaborate with the finance team to support the development of trade finance and contribute to strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Managing liquidity, investments, and loans to ensure optimal financial positioning.
- Advising on counterparty risks and managing foreign exchange exposures.
- Preparing and managing various internal and external financial reports.
- Overseeing the opening, closing, and administration of banking platforms for the company.
- Proactively engaging with internal stakeholders to provide financial insights and drive strategic decision-making.
- Being the back-up of the Group Treasurer.

- A bachelor’s degree in finance or a related field is required; a master’s degree and a qualification in treasury (RT/QT) are a plus.
- At least 5 years of experience in corporate treasury operations.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken; proficiency in Dutch is a plus.
- Currently residing in and eligible to work in the Netherlands is a must.
- Experience in managing bank relationships, foreign exchange risk, and hedge accounting.
- A proactive and advisory mindset with a focus on business partnership and strategic collaboration.
- Experience within a project-organization
