Due to significant increase in project activity, we are looking to engage a enthusiastic experienced Warehouse Assistant to join our fantastic team in Zeewolde, Netherlands
The warehouse assistant assists the warehouse leads with all common warehouse activities. This means approximately 50% administrative actions and 50% physical actions.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Role specific responsibilities
- Reports directly to the Warehouse Leads
- Keeps an eye on the weekly schedule and works through the task list in consultation
- Prepares work administratively, ensures a stock of prepared work
- Carries out work (with and/or by a warehouse clerk) and processes the necessary administration afterwards
- Administration of activities takes place by means of SAP, Excel and Outlook
- Directs the warehouse employees and monitors the work carried out
- Supports ethical and professional adherence to company policies and procedures
- Adheres to the objectives and applies them
- Comes up with ideas and suggestions related to 5s, SOP and Lean objectives
- Supports the implementation of new ideas and suggestions
- Assists in the development of warehouse workers
- Keeps the space safe, clean, tidy and organized
- Maintains the relationship with both colleagues and external relations in a good and positive way and also understands the importance of this
- Processing of incoming and outgoing goods incl. workshop requirements
- Picking and packing of outgoing goods, incl. weights and measures
- Receiving and processing returns from rental projects
- Loading, unloading and moving, by means of forklift, reach truck and/or overhead crane
- Sorting and placing goods on racks, shelves or in bins according to a predetermined order
- Performing cycle counts
- All other relevant warehouse related activities
- You have a duty to take care of your own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by your actions at work.
- You will carry out assigned tasks and duties in a safe manner, in accordance with instructions, and comply with all Health, Safety & Environmental rules, policy, procedures, regulations and codes of practice.
- You must also co-operate with management and co-workers to help everyone meet their legal obligations.
- Ensure that you follow any instructions or health, safety & environmental training the Company provides and report any hazards, injuries or ill health that present a serious and imminent risk.

Job Specific Education Required:
- Preferably MBO or equivalent level.
- Forklift and/or reach truck certificate or willingness to obtain one.
- Preferably at least 2-3 years of warehouse experience with a forklift and/or reach truck.
- Administratively skilled in order processing and processing data in the SAP software system.
- Is proficient with Outlook, Excel and Word.
- Can work well together, shows initiative and is proactive.
- Is able to alternately sit, stand, walk, reach, bend, bend and move around the entire building.
- Can lift 0 to 25 kg using the personal protective equipment as prescribed by OSHA/and the company guidelines.
- Has a good work ethic. Understands and promotes efficiency.
- Understands and promotes the need for continuous development.
- Has a good command of the Dutch language, both verbally and in writing, preferably also in English.
- Is accurate, reliable, flexible and has a good sense of humor in all circumstances.
- Always adheres to the company guidelines and procedures as laid down in the General Guidelines and Procedure Manual.

- 3899 AV Zeewolde: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
