The Opportunity
We are looking for a motivated Building Services Engineer with at least three years of experience in a similar role with a construction main contractor working across varied commercial projects. This position requires a strong mechanical and/or electrical background, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service for our clients. The successful candidate will provide technical support, coordinate with project teams, clients, and subcontractors, and supervise the installation of various building services. They will foster a collaborative work environment, uphold safety standards, and ensure projects are delivered efficiently and cost-effectively.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide technical support for building services projects.
Coordinate with project teams, clients, and subcontractors.
Supervise installations of mechanical, electrical, fire, hydraulic, and drainage services.
Ensure adherence to New Zealand Building Code Standards.
Foster a team-oriented and collaborative work environment.
Uphold a commitment to safety and zero accidents.
Deliver high-quality customer service and innovative solutions.
Take ownership of project outcomes and ensure successful delivery.

Required Skills:

At least three years of experience in a similar role.
Strong mechanical and/or electrical background from Trade or Tertiary.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Knowledge of core service disciplines and building codes.
Disciplined, self-motivated work ethic.
Ability to nurture stakeholder relationships and work collaboratively.
