About the Role
Amisfield is currently seeking a Commis Chef - Pastry to work alongside our talented Head Pastry Chef. We are after an individual that brings professionalism to their job, and are creative while being enthusiastic and precise and shows passion for the region they work and the job they choose to work in.

The Amisfield kitchen team is led by Executive Chef Vaughan Mabee, renowned for creativity and innovation, and supported by a team of equally impressive talent. He tells a New Zealand wine and food story that is unsurpassed and a stunning representation of our country.
About You

Skills/attributes we would like to see you bring to the table include:
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role, ideally a Michelin Star or Hatted establishment, or
- A culinary qualification from a reputable culinary school
- Passion for New Zealand cuisine and an understanding of local/seasonal produce
- Able to produce consistently high quality dishes
- A strong work ethic, reliable and trustworthy
- Excellent time management and the ability to stay calm within a busy, demanding kitchen environment
