• At least five plus years professional experience in planning.
• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a Planning related field.
• NZPI membership.
• Excellent problem solving & decision-making skills.
• A logical and clear thinker.
• The ability to build meaningful relationships.
• The ability to be articulate and accurate.
• Strong communication skills for a diverse range of audiences.

• Managing a team of consultants to prepare resource consent applications.
• Working with the Stevenson team to obtain relevant information for applications.
• Providing clear and concise consenting advice to the wider Stevenson team.
• Ensuring that all new consents are embedded into the business by undertaking a handover process with operational staff.
• Providing advice to operational staff to ensure consents are operating within the current consent conditions.
• Undertaking iwi engagement as and when is necessary.
• Liaising with local community as required.
• Keeping a broad overview of all new policy and legislative changes which may impact the business.
