The Ultimate Care Group is a privately owned specialist residential aged care services provider, offering rest home, hospital and dementia care to the elderly throughout New Zealand. Our main support office is located in Auckland with additional support offices in Wellington and Christchurch, We employ over 1000 people.

The Role

The HR Coordinator plays a pivotal role in shaping the employee experience, supporting our team initiatives, ensuring that our people processes are efficient, effective and aligned with our company values. As the front line for HR queries, you will be the person our people connect to first.

This position is responsible for providing administration and coordination support across core HR functions, including:

• Recruitment and onboarding administration
• Delivering first-level HR advice and support to employees and People Leaders
• Employee engagement
• General HR administration

You will support the delivery of these key functions while fostering strong relationships with leaders and employees in the business, ensuring a values-driven, customer-focused approach.

Reporting to the Head of People and Performance you will be an integral part of the team, utilising your strong attention to detail, organisational, and reporting skills.

• Willingness to learn
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Maintains employee confidence
• Have strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, on time and accurately.
• Be able to establish and maintain professional relationships, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
• Highly skilled in using Microsoft Office tools, such as: Word and other people related databases
• Tertiary studies in Human Resources, Training or related field is preferred
