Internship - Java Development Project

You will be joining the Tait PCB Team, who are responsible for designing printed circuit boards and publishing the outputs to internal customers.
Our Java Development project is an opportunity to build on your existing experience, learn something new, and gain experience within a global organisation. This project will involve:
- Migrating a Tomcat server to a new Windows Server
- Re-configuring Java software to correctly perform on the new server
- Documenting all changes and configurations
- Identifying and making small enhancements and improvements to code to provide an improved user experience
To be successful we would like candidates to have:
- Software development experience
- Strong Java development skills
- Experience with Tomcat servers on Windows Server environments.

To be eligible for a summer internship, you must:
- Be studying, or have recently completed, an undergraduate or postgraduate degree or qualification at NZQA level 7-10. If study has been completed, the closing date of your final semester should be less than 12 months ago
- Be studying science, technology, engineering, design or business at a New Zealand tertiary education institute
- Be legally permitted to work in New Zealand
- Not have undertaken more than two Experience Grant internships with the same business
This is a fixed term paid summer internship position for 400 hours, commencing in November 2024.
