Job Description

As Z Energy evolves its digital transformation, and becomes increasingly reliant on digital applications, data engineering products and modern enterprise solutions to drive operations, customer interactions, and innovation, we are pleased to welcome a Kaitātari Umanga Mātāmua Senior Business Analyst to our internal BA Community on a fixed term basis. We are looking for an asap start through to 30 June 2025.
Our Business Analysts are Agile-first and work cross functionally and flexibly across a diverse range of business areas and products, contributing to transformation activity that will bring value to our customers.

This role is based in Wellington and our preference is for Wellington based candidates.
You will have the opportunity to

• Carry out high standards of requirements elicitation, analysis, specification and management, validating projects & business cases
• Work closely with a broad stakeholder community to develop business cases for a variety of large or complex projects
• Monitor implementation of business requirements during delivery lifecycles, ensuring initial business outcomes are delivered upon
• Collaborate with experience & innovation teams to build exceptional customer/employee experience understanding, and use appropriate tools, techniques and artefacts to present and document outcomes

Qualifications

What you’ll bring to Z

• Business Analysis experience within an Agile environment, with proven track record of creating actionable insights, strategies and business plans within large scale, complex enterprises
• Strong problem solving and practical decision-making skills, able to evaluate product specifications, and make reasonable decisions based on large data sets
• Excellent communication and leadership capabilities – able to convey meaning to others verbally and in writing, proactive with knowledge sharing and an active listener

The base salary range for this role is $112,200 to $132,000 per annum and a 5% Kiwi Saver employer contribution.
