Our vision is to enable our ākonga to achieve their educational and personal goals, empowering them to become engaged and contributing members of their communities. Ki te tī, ki te tā, ki te katoa – Anytime, anywhere, anyone.

Mō tēnei tūranga mahi | About this position
As the Kaiwhakatere | Leaving to Learn Navigator you will aim to be a conduit and bridge builder between Te Kura and external organisations. You will play a vital role in connecting ākonga with hands-on, real-world experiences that enrich their learning and personal development.
This position is more than teaching; it's about fostering relationships, empowering ākonga to explore their potential, and weaving cultural values into everyday learning. • Collaborate with iwi, hapū, local organizations, and businesses to establish meaningful partnerships.
  • Support ākonga in reflecting on their experiences and connecting them to their future pathways, aspirations and whānau values.
  • Can follow established processes and input data tracking information around shadowing and internships.
