Our Operations division support the bank regarding Cards & Support Services, Lending, Payments & Cash, Wealth, People Operations and Collections & Credit Solutions teams. As part of the Operations Transformation team, you will have the opportunity to support ASB's purpose and ambitions by consolidating our operations activities into a centre of excellence and transforming the function from 'process executors to 'value creators.'

Mo te tūranga | About the role:
Your key responsibilities include:

Develop and implement solutions that optimise processes, save time and reduce risk.
Ensure deliverables meet quality standards within set timeframes.
Maintain and support software applications while contributing to operational service agreements.
Engage in personal development and pursue opportunities to enhance your skills and performance.
Uphold world-class Risk & Control management in all activities.
Report operational risks promptly and participate in post-implementation reviews.

Ngā mea kia whai angitū ahau? | What do I need to be successful?

Strong desire to improve processes across Operations.
Ability to analyse, design, develop, and support process improvement initiatives.
Familiarity with automation technologies (e.g., Smart IQ, Power Automate, Pega).
Proficient in SQL and confident with data analysis.
Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
